Rooms of our own Lucy Cavendish College
home
Tucked in a corner of central Cambridge, close to the river Cam and just off the famous 'Backs', Lucy Cavendish is a place where talented women come to study for University of Cambridge degrees: undergraduate and graduate students mix with the Fellows of the College to make a stimulating community of women.

Lucy Cavendish College holds events to encourage women to find out more about studying at the time in their lives that suits them. A Thursday evening lecture series, a number of one-day conferences and the annual Women's Word at Lucy Cavendish festival in June all take place here.

Lucy Cavendish College is the Cambridge college for women (over 21). Talented women from around the world study here and Lucy women have gone on to be successful writers, solicitors, barristers, doctors and teachers; they have joined government departments and major international organisations; they are found in all walks of life and on every continent.
